Difficult Access Installation
Additional labour for non-standard installation will be at extra cost. Scaffolding to be provided by client if required.
Payment Terms
There is a $60 minimum job charge for installation travel added to the invoice under sales representative deacretion. A deposit of 40% is required to procced with order. Balance payable prior to installation.
Terms & Conditions
1. Ownership of goods: All products supplied remain the property of CAN Shutters & Blinds Pty Ltd until full payment, including GST, has been recieved.
2. Deposit and payment terms: A 40% deposit is required before any manufacturing or ordering of products will commence. All products are custom-made and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable once production had begun. The remaining balance must be paid in full once the products have been manufactured and prior to installation. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or products have entered production.
3. Product representation: All products, fabric and colours are represented as accurately as possible at the time of quoting. Unless otherwise stated, one (1) crank handle per job. Additional crank handles are available at $66 including GST each.
4. Removal of existing blinds: Removal or disposal of existing blinds, awning, shutters are not included unless specifically stated within the quotation.
5. Electrical work: No electrical work is included within quotations. Any electrical installation, wiring, or connection must be carried out by a licenced electrician organised by the customer unless stated otherwise.
6. Scaffolding requirements: If scaffolding, elevated work platforms, or specialised access equipment is required for installation, this must be arranged and paid for by the customer.
7. Installation conditions: All products are manufactured level and square. No allowance has been made for uneven slabs, decks, posts, walls, ceilings or other structured unless specifically noted in the quotation.
8. Rubber Seals: Rubber seals are considered a wearable component and are not recommended in certain installations. Due to normal wear and environmental exposure, CAN Shutters & Blinds does not provide warranty on rubber seals.
9. Imported products: lead times for imported products may vary and are outside the control of CAN Shutters & Blinds. CAN Shutters & Blinds cannot be held responsible for delays caused by shipping, freight, customs, or supplier delays.
10. Fabric and product compliance: By paying the deposit, the customer confirms that they have read and understood the fabric technical datasheet where applicable.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the selected product complies with any specific application requirements, included but not limited to:
Fire compliance
Body Corporate requirements
Building regulation
Council requirements
CAN Shutters & Blinds accept no liability for products that do not meet regulatory requirements when chosen by the customer.
11. Acceptance pf terms: Payment of the deposit confirms the customer has read, understood, and agreed to the quotations and these terms.
Photography & Marketing Ceoncent
The customer acknowledges and agrees that CAN Shutters &Blinds Pty Ltd may take photographs and/or video of the products supplied and installed at the property of business records, marketing, website, social media, portfolio, and promotional purposes. Where possible, photographs will focus on the installed products and not on people, personal photographs, or sensitive information. By accepting this quotation or proceeding with the order, the customer grants CAN Shutters & Blinds permission to use, reproduce, publish, and display such images for professional and advertising purposes without further notice or compensation. If the customer does not wish for photographs of the completed works to be use for such purposes, they must notify CAN Shutters & Blinds inwriting before installation.
